sa Caleta is a cove in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, E, SE, W and NW winds; exposed to S and SW winds.
A small fishermen's cove with traditional boathouses, inside the Ses Salines nature park, next to Es Bol Nou beach and ringed by orange clay cliffs. The water is calm and shallow over a mixed bottom of sand, rock and seagrass. A short walk away are the remains of the Sa Caleta Phoenician settlement (8th century BC), regarded as the first Phoenician settlement on the island.
Arena suggests 1 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 114 m away.
Approximate depth: 6.9 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
