S' Illiot des Rencli is a cove in Sant Joan de Labritja, Ibiza. Sheltered from NE, E, SE, S, SW and W winds; exposed to N winds.
A small beach of coarse golden sand and flat rocks, named after the islet just offshore and ringed by low cliffs with pines and junipers. The seabed of sand, rock and posidonia deepens gradually and is rich for snorkelling; there are boat sheds at one end. A family-run fish restaurant rounds off a simple, authentic day.
Deep water close to the shore: check the app to see the anchoring spots.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
