Es Còdol Foradat is a cove in Formentera. Sheltered from N, NE, E, W and NW winds; exposed to SE, S and SW winds.
A stretch of Migjorn beach on the south coast made up of small sandy coves separated by rock formations, with a dune system behind. The water is crystal clear over sand and posidonia, and the shape of the shoreline changes from year to year with the winter currents. A good choice if you want more secluded corners within the big southern beach, with a couple of restaurants by the sea.
Arena suggests 17 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 2.5–7.3 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
