Platja de Llevant (sud) is a beach in Formentera. Sheltered from SE, S, SW, W and NW winds; exposed to N, NE and E winds.
The southern end of Llevant beach, also known as Ses Salines beach: fine white sand broken up by small rocky points that form sheltered corners, and clear water over sand and posidonia. A wide belt of dunes, crossed by wooden boardwalks, separates it from the salt pans inside the Natural Park. This is the part of Llevant closest to Es Pujols and Sa Roqueta, quiet and almost free of buildings, with one beach bar on the sand.
Arena suggests 20 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 64 m away.
Approximate depth: 0.6–7.3 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
