Caló de s'Alga is a cove in Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, SW, W and NW winds; exposed to E and SE winds.
A small beach about 110 m long in the Siesta development, south of Santa Eulària, with a stretch of sand protected by a breakwater and a rocky area with a jetty for swimming. Calm, shallow water, with a weedy bottom and shoals of fish for snorkelling. Quiet even in summer, and linked to the town centre by a coastal path.
Arena suggests 13 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 22 m away.
Approximate depth: 3.4–7.6 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
