10 spots on sand

An open beach of fine golden sand, about 400 m long and split into two bays, with pine woods behind and a gentle slope (about 2 m deep 50 m out). It is exposed to the east wind, which builds a sizeable swell, so take care when swimming or anchoring in an easterly. In calm weather it is a lovely swim in clear water, with restaurants and beach bars on the sand and the Es Canar sailing club close by.

Anchoring

Arena suggests 10 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 32 m away.

Approximate depth: 0.5–7.4 m (EMODnet bathymetry).

Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
