Cala d'Hort is a cove in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, E, SE, S and NW winds; exposed to W winds.
A beach of sand and stones about 150–200 m long, ringed by pine-clad cliffs and facing the islets of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell, inside their nature reserve. The water is crystal clear and shallow over sand, with rock at the sides that draws snorkellers and divers, and fishermen's slipways can be seen from the shore. The view of Es Vedrà, especially at sunset, and the fish and seafood restaurants are the reason to anchor here.
Arena suggests 7 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 4.5–5.7 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Buoy field with no confirmed status (checked on 19/10/2026): do not count on a buoy
Field planned but delayed; no 2026 source confirms it exists.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
