Benirràs is a cove in Sant Joan de Labritja, Ibiza. Sheltered from E, SE, S and SW winds; exposed to N and NW winds.
A deep, enclosed bay with a beach of about 150 m of coarse sand and pebbles, framed by pine woods and with the Cap Bernat islet (almost 30 m high) at its mouth. In summer you can anchor in light easterly winds over sand and weed in 6–12 m, but it becomes dangerous in westerly or north-easterly winds. Famous for its sunsets and the drummers who gather at dusk, it has beach bars and restaurants.
Arena suggests 1 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 22 m away.
Buoy field closed this season (checked on 19/10/2026)
Planned field that was never installed: no buoys in 2026.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
